The three-day All India Representative Assembly of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized at Madhav Srishti Kendra in Pattikalyan in Panipat district of Haryana concluded on Sunday (March 15, 2026). After the concluding session, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, while addressing the press conference, presented the Sangh’s position on the burning issues of the country and the world, the expansion of the organization and future plans.
The Union’s perspective on neighboring countries and global conflict
In response to a question on the ongoing tension in the Middle East and India’s stance towards Iran, Hosabale said, ‘We have full confidence that the Indian government is taking the right steps keeping in mind the interests of the country. The Sangh believes that peace should be established in the world.
Referring to neighboring countries, he said that India’s relations should be strengthened with the new governments formed after the recent political turmoil in Bangladesh and Nepal. He clarified that stability in these countries is essential for the security and development of the entire Asia. However, he also expressed concern over the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh.
‘It is not our claim that only Sanghis are patriots’ – Hosabale
Putting an end to political discussions, Sarkaryavah said, ‘The Sangh never says that only its workers are patriots. Patriotism is not anyone’s inheritance. On relations with BJP, he said that BJP has adopted the ideology of Sangh, while other parties kept their doors closed. For this reason, people having Sangh’s views are serving the country by going into politics.
Expansion and inclusivity of the organization
According to the annual report presented in the meeting, there has been unprecedented growth in the branches of the Sangh in the last one year. According to this, a total of 88,949 shakhas were organized in the last one year, which is 5,820 more than the previous year.
On Muslim and women’s participation, Hosabale clarified that a person of any religion can join the Sangh by saluting the saffron flag. He told that apart from the direct work of the branch, a large number of women are active in other projects of the Sangh.
Haryana will become ‘Nagpur’ of North India
He said that the Union has decided to develop Haryana as a major center of North India. Madhav Srishti Kendra of Pattikalyan spread over 25 acres will be upgraded on the lines of Nagpur headquarters. Its foundation stone was laid 8 years ago by Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
Centenary year and social harmony
He said that the Sangh is entering its centenary year in the year 2025-26. On this occasion, special programs will be organized to give the message of harmony. Which includes the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji.
Hosabale spoke on Punjab and cow service
Strategy regarding Punjab He said that Rashtriya Sikh Sangat will be activated afresh to strengthen the unbreakable relationship like nakh-maans (nails and flesh) between Sikhs and Hindus. On cow service, Hosabale appealed that one should not rear the cow only for milk, but understand the usefulness of its urine and dung so that the problem of helpless cows on the streets can be ended. Whereas on the UGC controversy, Sarkaryavah said that the matter is under consideration in the Supreme Court, hence the union will not comment on it.
