Giving its opinion on HDFC AMC, Morgan Stanley said that the rating of the stock has fallen significantly in the last six months, making it a good investment opportunity now. 3QFY26 results were better than expectations, with operating profit beating estimates.
Despite increasing competition, the company has prudently reduced commissions, resulting in better-than-expected revenue yields and reducing concerns over telescopic pricing. The company’s fundamentals remain strong with modest market-share gains in active equity and steady growth in SIP inflows. Expected annual PAT growth of around 19% and strong growth in AAAUM during FY26-28.
HDFC AMC Q3 Results: Profit increased by 20% in December quarter
HDFC Asset Management Company’s net consolidated profit for the October-December 2025 quarter increased by nearly 20 percent year-on-year to Rs 769.42 crore. A year ago the profit was Rs 641.36 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 1075.10 crore, up 15 per cent from a year ago. Revenue in the December 2024 quarter was Rs 934.63 crore. The company has told the stock exchanges that its total expenses during the December 2025 quarter increased to Rs 220.46 crore. A year ago the expenses were Rs 187.87 crore.
