In fact, actress Daisy Shah has now come out in support of music composer-turned-director Palash, and has called him a “very good” person amid the ongoing controversy over his canceled marriage with cricketer Smriti Mandhana.

Daisy Shah called Palash a very good person
Daisy told that her connection with Palash goes back many years. Her sister, singer Palak Muchhal, sang in Daisy’s first film Jai Ho. She said, “Palash is very nice as a person. In fact, I have met him a few times. Palak did a song for Jai Ho, so I know him since then, so I often go to parties at Palak’s house for birthdays and Ganpati Puja, and that’s how I met Palash. That’s how I came to know that he is a music composer and director.”
Daisy further said, “I met their family, a very beautiful family, they are very down to earth. They believe in God a lot and I think that is the good thing about them. People who believe in God are positive people.” Daisy Shah has said this at a time when Palash’s personal life is in the headlines.
Why was Palash and Smriti Mandhan’s marriage cancelled?
The marriage of Palash and Smriti Mandhana was to take place on November 25, 2025 in Sangli. However, the ceremony was suddenly canceled a day before. Initially it was told that the marriage has been canceled due to the ill health of Smriti’s father. Then Palash was also admitted to the hospital in Sangli and the matter of his life came to light and later he was brought back to Mumbai. However, later, allegations came to light that Palash cheated on Smriti due to which their marriage was cancelled. Both he and Smriti confirmed on social media that the marriage will not take place.
