On one hand, there is forecast of light rain and strong winds due to western disturbance in North India, while on the other hand, the temperature has started rising gradually in South India. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of light rain in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and mountains.

The sky may remain cloudy in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas today and there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in some areas. You will feel slight coolness in the morning and evening. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 27-29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Amidst the scorching heat in Uttar Pradesh, due to western disturbance, changes in weather are being seen in many parts of the state. There is a possibility of cloudy sky, strong winds and moderate rain in many districts on Monday. According to IMD, strong winds at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour may occur in many areas of eastern and western Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Along with this, a rain alert has also been issued. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some districts.
The weather changed in Lucknow since Sunday morning. It was cloudy and there was light drizzle in many areas of the city. The sun came out amid the clouds during the day, while in the evening the weather became pleasant due to strong cold winds. The maximum temperature dropped from 34 degrees to 31.6 degrees Celsius, which was 0.6 degrees below normal. Due to clouds the night temperature increased to 20.6 degrees. In the evening, winds blew at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Due to mutual conflict between westerly and easterly winds, the process of cloud formation has intensified, due to which the situation of rain with thunder is being created.
Weather of Uttarakhand and Himachal
Change in weather is also being seen in Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of light rain in Dehradun and surrounding areas while there is a possibility of snowfall in the higher reaches. This may increase the cold in hilly areas. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Shimla, Manali and high altitude areas of Himachal. Fog can be seen in hilly areas.

The weather is likely to be dry and hot in the South Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana. In many cities the temperature can reach 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, due to which the heat will be more in the afternoon.
