T20 World Cup Sanju Samson Prize Money: Sanju Samson has written the story of Team India becoming world champion. This is the same Samson, who found it difficult to get a place in the playing eleven of the initial matches. He also created history by playing three consecutive half-century innings. For this memorable performance he was also chosen Player of the Tournament.
Sanju Samson made a comeback in the match against Zimbabwe, where he was out after scoring 24 runs. When it came to the do-or-die match against West Indies, he stole the show by playing an unbeaten inning of 97 runs. After that he played an inning of 89 runs in the semi-final against England and also 89 runs in the final against New Zealand.
Samson got separate prize money
Sanju Samson has received prize money of 25,000 US dollars i.e. about Rs 21 lakh for becoming the Player of the Tournament. Let us tell you that in the final match, Jasprit Bumrah became the player of the match for taking 4 wickets. Bumrah also got about Rs 8.4 lakh separately for becoming the player of the match.

How much prize money did Team India get?
India has become the first country, which has achieved the feat of winning the T20 World Cup twice consecutively. To become world champion, the Indian team has received prize money of about Rs 27.48 crore. Whereas the runner-up New Zealand team has got a prize of about Rs 14.65 crore.
In the final match, Team India made a historic score of 255 runs, which is the biggest score in the history of T20 World Cup final. In reply, the Kiwi team could score only 159 runs.
