Preparations have intensified for the upcoming assembly elections in Kerala. On one side there is the LDF alliance led by the Left and on the other side there is the Congress-led UDF. Due to the rhetoric of the leaders, tension is being created in the INDIA block. This time the left parties have directly surrounded Rahul Gandhi.
Left parties have objected that the way Rahul Gandhi is attacking left parties in Kerala is not right. This will affect the unity of INDIA Alliance and lead to bitterness in relations.

INDIA Block had a meeting in Delhi on Monday (9 March), in which the Parliament session was to be discussed. During this, Left MPs John Brits and P. Santosh Kumar raised objection in the meeting that how can Rahul Gandhi talk about an alliance between the Communist Party and BJP. Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi had alleged that there is coordination between BJP and communist parties in Kerala. Going further, Rahul Gandhi had used a term called ‘Communist Janata Party’, which has enraged the leftist leaders. Left leaders said that how will the alliance be able to function by making such comments on the allies.
What did Rahul Gandhi say
Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal objected to the stance of the Left MPs during the meeting. He said that this issue will be discussed later and we will tell what Rahul Gandhi meant by what he said. He said that it is not right to make a part of Rahul Gandhi’s speech an issue in the meeting. Let us tell you that during this time Rahul Gandhi was also present and he said that this will be discussed later. Most of the leaders said that for now we should focus on the agenda of the Parliament in the meeting.
Actually, elections are to be held in Kerala in the next few months. The Left led government is in power for the last two consecutive terms and here BJP is the third party, while Congress is in the contest. Congress feels that this time it will regain power.
