Hyderabad News: In Hyderabad, a 27-year-old woman allegedly killed her 10-month-old innocent son by poisoning her and then committed suicide. Police said that this incident happened due to ongoing domestic disputes with her husband.
The deceased woman has been identified as 27-year-old Sushma, who was married to chartered accountant Yashwanth Reddy four years ago. The couple had a 10-month-old son named Yashvardhan Reddy. Family members told that for some days there were frequent fights between the husband and wife.
Committed suicide by poisoning her 10 month old son
According to police, Sushma had gone to her mother Lalita’s (44) house for shopping related to a family function. According to reports, she took her child to another room, fed poison to the child and then committed suicide.
Husband returned from work and broke the door
When Yashwanth Reddy returned home from work around 9:30 in the evening, he found the bedroom door locked from inside. When he broke the door and entered inside, he saw that both his wife and son were lying unconscious. Both were taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared both of them dead. After this Yashwanth Reddy went to the police station and lodged a complaint.
Mother shocked by the death of daughter and grandson
Seeing her daughter and grandson dead, Lalita could not bear the shock and reportedly attempted suicide. Now he has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Police said that the case has been registered and investigation is also going on. Initial investigation has revealed that this incident happened due to an ongoing domestic dispute between husband and wife. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and statements of family members and others are being recorded to establish the true link of the incident.
