Lack of trust and doubt in love has taken over a relationship, resulting in dire consequences. A 19-year-old girl, stressed over her boyfriend’s suspicions, committed suicide by jumping from a water tank in the Nagole police station premises. On the complaint of the parents of the deceased, the police have arrested the accused lover.
The case pertains to YSR Colony, Tatti Anannaram, where Aishwarya (19), resident of Kothagudem in Khammam district, lived with her family. According to police sources, the accused is Mahesh alias Anand (23), who is a resident of Hastinapuram and is an auto driver by profession. He is a distant relative of the girl. After meeting during a religious Ayyappa puja a year ago, the two grew close while visiting homes.
Anand proposed Aishwarya
According to the information, Anand proposed Aishwarya and promised marriage. Despite initial opposition from the family members, the relationship took a new turn when both parties approved the relationship. However, Anand’s behavior changed during the wedding preparations. He became deeply suspicious of Aishwarya that she talked to someone else on the phone. This baseless suspicion troubled him so much that he started harassing him continuously.
Strong debate between Anand and Aishwarya
The incident took place on the 5th of this month, when both of them reached the overhead water tank located in Housing Board Colony, where they used to meet frequently. Here, Anand had a heated argument with Aishwarya over the suspicion of talking on the phone and accused her. Under stress and fed up with the allegations, Aishwarya jumped from the water tank.
admitted to hospital in critical condition
In a critical condition, he was admitted to a private hospital in Nagole, where he died during treatment on Wednesday (January 7, 2026). Nagole police have registered a case against Anand on the basis of the complaint of the deceased’s parents and have arrested him and sent him to judicial custody. The police has started further investigation of the case.
