Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday fiercely targeted the BJP and the Central Government over the Vikas Bharat Ji Ram Ji Act, which was brought in place of the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). He has also appealed to the people to express solidarity against this bill. He made these allegations at the MNREGA Bachao Morcha in a program organized by Congress cell Creative Congress. He said that BJP wants an India where a king takes all the decisions. Or what the law is, I don’t know. Yes Gram Ji. Don’t know what.
Rahul Gandhi said that the concept of MNREGA was a law for the right to provide employment to the poor. It had the voice of people and workers. This scheme guaranteed 100 days of employment to every poor person. He said that now Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP want to end it. During this, while mentioning the agricultural law, he said that the farmers had got the law repealed by putting pressure on them. He has shown the way to the workers. Rahul also accused the Center and said that BJP wants to destroy the structure of modern India. He said that I know that these are fearful people. If we stand together then you will decide what will be the name of the scheme and how it will run. He has appealed to the poor to unite.
BJP hit back at Rahul Gandhi
BJP has reprimanded Rahul Gandhi and Congress for opposing this bill. BJP says that Rahul Gandhi’s criticisms have exposed the anti-Hindu mentality of Congress. Also said that Congress is spreading wrong information. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that the new Act will strengthen the right to work. The opposition is spreading this lie. Under this scheme, employment will be provided only in some panchayats. He also said that I want to tell Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge that by spreading wrong information about the Ji Ram Ji Bill, they are not strengthening the Congress but weakening it.
