It has been 17 days since the ongoing war between America and Iran. America’s President Donald Trump’s big statement regarding the war has come out. He said that the war with Iran will end soon. Trump said that I have left a lot of infrastructure in Tehran because if I did so, it would take years to build it.
Speaking to America’s government channel, Trump said, ‘I can shut down power plants in an hour, but if I do that, it will take years to rebuild them and it will be a big blow. That’s why I’m trying to avoid such things. He also described the expenditure on the ongoing war with Iran as ‘nessile’. Also said that as soon as the war ends, oil prices will fall drastically.
The US President said that we are doing very well and repeated his statement of destroying Iran’s army. He further said, ‘They want to compromise, but they feel that they are not ready to compromise yet.’ Regarding the attack on Kharg Island, Trump said, ‘Kharg Island is completely inactive except for the pipes, which I left there. I didn’t want to attack the pipes because, you know, it takes years of work to put them together.’
‘Trying to postpone things’
He further said, ‘I have left a lot of infrastructure in Tehran because if it is destroyed then years of construction will go to waste. I could demolish the power plants in an hour but if I do that, it will take years of reconstruction and that would be a blow. That’s why I’m trying to avoid such things.
‘Oil prices will fall as soon as the war ends’
Trump said the war was a ‘low price to pay’ for the years of terror the Iranian regime has committed. On the question of the time frame for the decline in oil prices, he said that after the end of the war, oil prices will fall rapidly.
