In an interview given to Times of India, when Gaurav Khanna was asked whether he would return again as Anuj in Anupama.

In such a situation, the answer given by Gaurav Khanna was quite funny. Gaurav Khanna said, ‘You are asking the wrong person about this. Because it is not in my hands to return to Anupama. It depends on our producer Rajan Shahi and channel Star Plus. If there is something interesting for me in the story then I will definitely come back. But, if the track is not exciting then I will not come back.
Gaurav Khanna further said, ‘Anuj Kapadia’s character is the most liked, so I would be very happy to do this character again.
There is no such plan at present. I am not even following the show so I don’t even know what is happening in the story. It is known that sometimes the audience feels that Gaurav Khanna will return to the show. Because the show often shows some old scenes and flashbacks.
Gaurav told that even today fans tag him in those clips. It feels good that the audience remembers Anuj. As of now, nothing has been decided because I never say no to anything.
