Ever since Gaurav Khanna became the winner of Bigg Boss 19, some people on social media have been claiming that he has won the trophy because of his popularity. However, Gaurav has now rejected all these claims. In a recent interview, Gaurav told that he has worked very hard for years and clarified that he has not worked with Colors TV for 15 years. In fact, while talking to Shahri Farido, Gaurav said, “People say that I won because of being famous, but I have actually worked very hard. 20 years of hard work is no small thing. I have not been the face of Colors TV for the last 15 years. My last show on Colors TV was ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’ with Yami Gautam, which was telecast in 2010.”
Gaurav further said, “So, if people consider me a well-known face of Colors in 2025, even after doing just one show 15 years ago, then it means that I am really a very good actor. Nothing comes for free, I cannot win a show just on the basis of my experience or previous work, I have to perform well in it as well.”

Sharing his experience in the reality show, Gaurav said, “I did not go there to compete with others. Being a part of television for so many years, I know that in Bigg Boss, people will target you, embarrass you, defame you and try to bring you down. But my whole motive was to become a better person. My life is the result of the decisions taken by me. Bigg Boss is a very intelligent game, if you play it intelligently. I had kept this in mind from day one, I did not go there to please those 15-16 people.”
