Father is Sunil Shetty’s inspiration
‘Somewhere I feel that journey is still going on. There are ups and downs going on in this, especially because after our own entry in this, after our own people, now we think about the family and children. Now that I have become a grandfather, I think about him. But it has been a very beautiful journey. When I got the opportunity, I thought of asking my father if I have got one chance in the industry, so first of all I asked him and he said that I have got only once in life, give my best in it. Whatever work you do, do it with truth and honesty.
Why was it refused for ‘Border’
During this, when Sunil Shetty was asked why he had refused to work in ‘Border’? In response to this, Sunil Shetty said, ‘Yes, I had earlier said no to this film because I was told that JP Dutta ji is very strict. He can say anything to anyone on the set. My own nature was also similar and hence, thinking this, I had refused to do this film.
Said ‘yes’ on mother-in-law’s insistence
Further, Sunil told that ‘Then my mother-in-law convinced me for this film and I went to the set, met JP ji and I felt very happy. I feel that if I had not done the film ‘Border’ I would never have reached here. It is because of this film that people have remembered me. This film is a very important part of my life.
