Instagram Reels: In today’s time, Instagram Reels is not just a source of entertainment but has also become a big platform for personal branding and earning. The first 3 seconds are important
Instagram’s algorithm first looks at how long the user is watching your reel. If the video seems boring in the first 2–3 seconds, it will be scrolled down. Therefore, start the reel with a question, shocking scene or close-up shot that forces the user to stop.
Correct use of trending audio
Trending audio plays a big role in making reels viral. Instagram pushes more such audios which are already trending. But keep in mind that the audio matches your content theme. Using unrelated audio just for the sake of trend can have the opposite effect.
Take care of video quality and format
Users don’t stay long on blurry or low-resolution videos. Try to ensure that the video is in vertical format (9:16) and the lighting is clear. Clear visuals and a stable camera give your reel a professional look that algorithms also like.

The active time of every account is different, but generally Reels posted between 7–9 am and 7–10 pm get more response. Look at your Instagram Insights to understand when your audience is most active.

Don’t be disappointed if one or two reels don’t go viral. Instagram promotes those creators more who consistently post quality content. Post at least 3–4 reels a week and keep learning what’s working from each reel.
