BCCI Naman Awards 2026: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) honored India’s five World Cup winning teams by calling them on the same stage. All the 5 World Cup winning Indian teams were honored at the BCCI Naman Awards 2026 held in New Delhi on Sunday, March 15. From the winning team of T20 World Cup 2026 to the winning team of Women’s ODI World Cup and Under-19 Cricket World Cup, the Indian team was also present here.
First, IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal honored Team India, the winner of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup under the leadership of Ayush Mhatre. After that, the Indian players who won the Champions Trophy 2025 were honored, during which Suryakumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir were also present on the stage.
BCCI Vice President and Joint Secretary of the Board Prabhtej Bhatia honored India’s Women’s ODI World Cup winning team. In the end, Team India, the winner of T20 World Cup 2026, also got the honour. Most of the players of the winning team were present on the stage. First of all, India’s Under-19 T20 World Cup winning women’s team captain Nikki Prasad and other players had received the honour.

Earlier, India’s Test and ODI team captain Shubman Gill was honored with the Polly Umrigar Award. Gill was selected as the Best Men’s International Cricketer of the Year. On the other hand, Indian women’s cricket team’s star opening batsman Smriti Mandhana was chosen as BCCI’s Women Cricketer of the Year.
