If you are an iPhone user then some new emoji are coming for you. According to reports, Apple is working on some new emoji, which can be included in the iOS 27 update. The Unicode Consortium, the organization that creates and maintains universal standards for text and emoji, is reviewing these new emoji concepts. If the green signal is received from here, then Apple will include these emoji in iOS 27, which can be rolled out by the end of this year.
Which new emojis are expected?
According to the draft list, 9 new emoji concepts are being reviewed. These include smiley pace with squinting eyes, leftward and rightward thumb sign gesture, monarch butterfly, pickle, lighthouse, meteor, eraser and a net with handle. Apart from these, 10 additional skin-tone variations are also being reviewed. Let us tell you that these are still in the draft stage and changes can be made in them before getting the final approval. After getting approval from Unicode Consortium, Apple will prepare its own versions.
When will iOS 27 be rolled out?
It is believed that Apple can roll out iOS 27 by the end of this year and its glimpse can be seen in the Worldwide Developers Conference to be held in June. Along with new features, emphasis will also be laid on refinement in the new update. In this update, Apple will allow to integrate AI action in apps. This AI is not a third-party chatbot but can be a model that works on-device and supports Apple Intelligence. Besides, it is also expected to get a new version of Siri, Apple Health Plus and AI powered search tools. If seen this way, the new update will be equipped with AI, which will make many tasks of iPhone users easier.
