Apple launched the iPhone 17 series just a few months ago and now it has started preparations for the iPhone 18 series. It is being speculated that in September 2026, Apple may launch its first foldable iPhone along with iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. The information about getting a camera with variable aperture in the Pro model has already been revealed and now in a new report, an update has been received regarding its front design.
These changes can be seen in Pro models
According to media reports, the position of the front camera lens can be changed in the iPhone 18 Pro models and it will be placed in the top left corner, while the FaceID system will be placed below the display. This will change the front look of the iPhone significantly. Till now the front camera lens has been found in the middle of the upper part of the iPhone. Apart from this, a big change can also be seen in the camera control buttons. In new models, this button will not work by touching but by pressure-based input. Also, new LTPO+ displays can be provided in both the models, which will be energy efficient as well as support higher refresh rate.
Expected to get a camera with variable aperture
Apple is working on these two phones internally with codenames V63 and V64. It has been revealed in many earlier leaks that the rear camera of these models will have variable aperture. This will give the user the option to adjust the lens according to more or less light. Let us tell you that this feature is available in many phones of the Chinese company Huawei and now Samsung is also testing this feature to compete with the iPhone 18 Pro models. This feature can be added to the Galaxy S27 Ultra to be launched in 2027.
