All-black camera will give Plateau a different identity
According to the leak, the design of the camera module in the iPhone Fold may be different from the existing iPhone models. It is being said that it will get a camera plateau like iPhone Air but instead of body color, it can come with a completely black camera section.
In this camera setup, there will be two cameras in one line along with which microphone and flash will also be included. This design is somewhat reminiscent of the camera layout of the iPad Pro and can give a distinct identity to Apple’s first foldable phone.
May start in limited colors
According to reports, iPhone Fold will not have many color options at the time of launch. At present the white color is considered almost certain. However, Apple usually offers an additional shade, so one more color option is expected.

Small Dynamic Island and no Face ID design
It has also been said in the leak that a small dynamic island can be seen in the iPhone Fold. A single punch-hole design can be adopted for the front camera. To keep the thickness under control, Touch ID can be preferred instead of Face ID in this model.
Possible features of iPhone Fold
According to the information so far, iPhone Fold may have a 7.8-inch crease-less inner display which will be based on OLED panel. The external screen is said to be around 5.5 inches, which will be the smallest display ever in any modern iPhone.
For performance, the upcoming A20 Pro chipset can be given in it. The camera setup is likely to have a total of four cameras, two at the back and two for selfies and video calling.
Launch timeline and expected price
According to reports, iPhone Fold can be introduced with the iPhone 18 Pro series in September 2026. Talking about the price, its price in America can go up to around 2400 dollars, which will take it to the above premium category in the Indian market.
