Mumbai Indians IPL 2026 Schedule: The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) is going to start from 28 March 2026. Mumbai Indians, the five-time champions of this tournament, will enter the field with the intention of creating history. Quinton de Kock and Sherfane Rutherford return
Mumbai Indians have made strategic changes before and during the IPL 2026 auction. In the auction, South Africa’s experienced wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock has returned to the team, who will provide strength in the upper order batting. Sherfane Rutherford has been included in the team through trade, who will play the role of finisher. With Jasprit Bumrah in bowling for Mumbai, now the pair of Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar are ready to defeat the opposition batsmen.
Mumbai’s campaign will start from March 29 in Wankhede.
Mumbai Indians will start their IPL 2026 campaign on March 29 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium. This will be Mumbai’s first match in the first phase of this tournament. The second match will be against Delhi Capitals on April 4, while the third match will be played against Rajasthan Royals on April 7, while on April 12, a blockbuster match will be played against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), where Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will face each other.
