According to the report, Iran has put forward 10 important conditions, which the US has considered worthy of serving as the basis for negotiations. In these conditions, America is first expected not to take any aggressive action against Iran. Iran has also said that its control over the Strait of Hormuz will remain and this should be accepted. Along with this, it has also demanded recognition of uranium enrichment under its nuclear programme.
What is Iran’s main demand?
Iran’s main demands also include that all types of sanctions imposed on it should be removed, in this it has been said that along with the sanctions imposed directly, sanctions imposed through other countries should also be lifted. Apart from this, Iran wants that all the resolutions and decisions issued against it by the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should also be abolished. Iran has also demanded compensation for the losses incurred during the war. It has also placed a condition that America should withdraw all its combat troops from this area.
There should be no fighting in the surrounding areas – Iran
Iran has said that the war going on not only against it but in the entire region should be ended, which also includes the ongoing fighting in Lebanon. It is clear from these conditions that this time Iran wants to appear in a stronger position in the negotiations and wants its strategic and political position to be fully recognized in any agreement.
