It has been almost three weeks since the ongoing war in the Middle East. During this period, the number of American soldiers injured in the war with Iran has increased to approximately 200. The American military officer gave this information on Monday (16 March 2026). Apart from this, 13 American soldiers have also died since the beginning of the war. This war started on February 28, when Iran retaliated against Israel and American bases in the Middle East.
The United States Central Command of the US Army said that most of the soldiers suffered minor injuries. According to spokesperson Tim Hawkins, more than 180 out of 200 soldiers have returned to duty after treatment, while about 10 soldiers are seriously injured.
Attacks took place in many countries during the Iran-America war.
American soldiers have been injured in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In this war that has been going on for three weeks, Iran has targeted American military bases, fighter planes and diplomatic missions.
Huge losses in Iran and other countries also
According to Iran’s Health Ministry, as of March 8, more than 1,200 people have died in the country. These include about 200 women and 200 children, while more than 10,000 civilians have been injured. So far 14 people have died in Israel, while 886 people are reported dead in Lebanon. Due to this fighting, more than 1 million people in Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes.
The path to Iran-America agreement is not visible yet
At present there has been no indication of talks or agreement between US President Donald Trump and Iran. Trump has warned to intensify the attack on Iran’s strategic oil center Kharg Island. Meanwhile, America is preparing to increase its military presence in the Middle East. Under this, a plan is being made to deploy additional naval and warships.
