It is noteworthy that PSLV is considered the work horse of ISRO. In 63 flights so far, this rocket has successfully carried out historic missions like Chandrayaan-1, Mars Orbiter Mission and Aditya-L1. PSLV also holds the world record of launching 104 satellites in a single mission in the year 2017.

However, the PSLV-C61 mission had failed in May last year, hence this launch tomorrow on Monday (January 12) holds special significance for ISRO. The total duration of this mission is expected to be approximately 1 hour 48 minutes.
