Amidst the uproar over the song, the director’s wife and ex-actress Rakshita has broken her silence on this controversy and said that she wants to understand why there is so much uproar over this song only?

On her Instagram stories, Rakshita has posted several notes regarding this matter. He started off by saying, “Yes, yes, I have seen all this. I know you guys are tagging me in random people’s posts. The truth is, I know what’s written. I know what’s happening. Whether I’m in favor of it or against it, what my stand on it is, it doesn’t matter. When songs like ‘Peelings’, ‘Dreamam Vekpamam’, ‘Choli Ke Peechee’ or hundreds of such songs came out, Everything seemed fine then.
When the entire film came out, in which the actors were seen talking only about sexual intercourse throughout the film, even then everything seemed fine. But just one song becomes such a big news. “I am still not justifying it, just asking so I can understand.”

He further said that just because of one song, the entire work of the writer cannot be questioned and underestimated. He wrote, “Just because he has one song doesn’t mean he’s a bad writer or does everything just for show? That’s wrong. Bringing even our own people to the theater is a very difficult task. This is not just our story, this is the story of every Sandalwood film.”
He further said that criticizing someone for his work shows ‘another reality of social media’, and this should not happen. Words with double meaning were used in the initial lines of the song ‘Sarke Chunar’. The song was uploaded by the film’s official music partner, Anand Audio, in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. The Hindi version of the song is no longer available on YouTube. All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA), Kangana Ranaut and Armaan Malik have criticized the obscene lyrics of this song. A separate criminal complaint has already been filed in the cyber cell of Delhi Police in relation to this song.
