Kerala News: Recently a tragic incident took place in Kerala, where a 17 year old 12th class student died. However, by giving his life, that student gave four other people the opportunity to remain healthy for a long time. The girl had fallen from the school building. As a result he died.
The parents were devastated by their daughter’s death, but despite this they took a wonderful decision. He decided to donate two kidneys, liver and cornea of ​​the deceased daughter and as a result four other people got life back.
Doctors tried their best to save the girl
Payyavoor is a small area in Kannur district of Kerala. Ayana Manson was a student of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School there. The school had opened just after Christmas and only after that this incident happened. On Monday this week, the girl fell from the fourth floor of the school into the basketball court. The 17 year old student suffered serious injuries.
Ayana, a class 12 student, was undergoing treatment at Kannur MIMS Hospital. The doctors tried their best to save Ayana. But ultimately this was not possible. The student became brain dead. After this announcement, at 3 am on Wednesday, the doctors from the hospital collected various organs of the student in a modern way and then immediately transported them to the patients in Thalassery, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.
Ayana’s kidney sent by Indigo plane
A historic incident has happened in the case of Ayana’s kidney transplant. Ayana’s two kidneys were flown from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram on a scheduled commercial plane, IndiGo. This is the first time that a passenger plane has been used for organ transplant in Kerala. For this life saving mission, Indigo authority donated a plane seat for free. A co-ordinator reached Thiruvananthapuram from Kannur on time with Ayana’s kidney.
Ayana’s two kidneys arrived at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College at the right time. One of them was implanted in the body of a 27-year-old girl. The transplant was successful. The second was sent back to Thiruvananthapuram. There and in hospitals in Thalassery and Kozhikode, Ayana’s other organs were transplanted into patients who needed them.
