Kerala News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Kottampara village in Malappuram district of Kerala, where a family dispute took a violent turn. In this case, a mother-in-law got angry and attacked and killed her daughter-in-law with a sickle. After the incident, sensation has spread in the entire area.
According to the information, Sunil Babu’s 28-year-old wife Rajila lived in the same house with her husband, child and 70-year-old mother-in-law Shanta. It is being told that there was a domestic dispute going on between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law for a long time and there were frequent fights between the two.
Daughter-in-law refuses to make tea
On the day of the incident, Sunil Babu had gone out of the house for work. Meanwhile, Shanta asked her daughter-in-law Rajila to make tea. Rajila refused on some issue, due to which an altercation started between the two. Within no time, the dispute escalated to such an extent that in anger, Shanta picked up the sickle kept in the house and attacked Rajila.
Daughter-in-law died during treatment
Rajila was seriously injured in the attack and fell on the ground drenched in blood. Seeing this incident their small child started crying loudly. Hearing the screams of the child, nearby people reached the spot and immediately took the injured Rajila to a nearby hospital. Rajila’s treatment was started in the hospital, but due to her condition being critical, she died during treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
The police have arrested the accused mother-in-law Shanta and have sent her to judicial custody. At present, the police is investigating the entire matter and is trying to find out to what extent the domestic dispute had escalated to such an extent that it took such a horrifying form.
