Mohammad Rizwan, who was present at the crease, played the ball towards Mehdi Hasan Miraj, who was bowling with light hands, who was standing near Salman Aga at the non-strike end. Salman felt that the ball was dead. He stood outside the crease and started picking up the ball and giving it.
The ball did not reach Salman’s hand, but Miraj, showing full alertness, appealed by hitting the ball into the stumps. The umpire declared the Pakistani batsman out. Salman was playing after scoring 64 runs in 62 balls. The video of this incident went viral on social media. In the video, Salman Aga appeared very angry over his mistake.
