The second phase of the 35th edition of Lakshminarayan Global Music Festival (LGMF) will be organized in this month i.e. January, 2026. Under this phase, celebrations will be organized in five big cities of the country, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru, where a vibrant celebration of global culture and music will be seen.

The main attraction of this season of LGMF will be the orchestra, choir and dance ballet coming for the first time from Kazakhstan, in which all three performances will be seen simultaneously on the stage in five cities of the country. This spectacular production combines traditional Kazakh tunes with modern and contemporary choreography and gives audiences a rare and captivating glimpse of the art and culture of Central Asia. The event also marks an important cultural exchange, which promises to be a memorable moment in the glorious history of the festival.

When and in which cities the festival is organized,

  • January 16, 2026 – New Delhi – Bansera Park, Sarai Kale Khan.
  • January 19, 2026 – Chandigarh – Chandigarh University.
  • January 21, 2026 – Kolkata – Tala Prattay.
  • January 23, 2026 – Chennai – Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall.
  • January 25, 2026 – Bengaluru – Sri Sathya Sai Gram

Which celebrities will perform at the music festival?,

World renowned violinist Dr. L., awarded Padma Vibhushan and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, at the Lakshminarayan Global Music Festival (LGMF). Subramaniam will present his music. Along with them, India’s famous singer and Kavitha Krishnamurthy Subramaniam, known as Melody Queen, will also perform. Kavita Krishnamurthy Subramaniam has been awarded the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth highest civilian award, for her excellent music and singing. Apart from this, he has been honored with three Filmfare Awards, Stardust Millennium Award and many other awards.

At the same time, singer and songwriter Bindu Subramaniam will also spread the magic of her music in this music festival. Besides, famous violinist Ambi Subramaniam will also perform his music. Whereas in this list, 14 year old singer, songwriter and violinist Mahati Subramaniam will also showcase her art with her family.

Along with them, Maestro Abzal Mukhitdin and the Astana Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Ballet-Gaku and Kazakh Chamber Choir of the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic from Kazakhstan will also showcase their Kazakhstani art, culture and music.
