‘Saalar’ created a stir on OTT for 365 days
Made with a budget of around Rs 270 crore, this film earned more than Rs 700 crore worldwide. After making a huge splash in theatres, this film also became popular on OTT and created a different identity. This film remained trending on OTT for 366 days. This film was streamed on Jio Hotstar in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
The film’s director Prashant Neel had earlier achieved great success by giving ‘KGF’ series with Yash. Through ‘Salaar’ he presented Prabhas in a new style, which was liked by the audience. After the great response on OTT, Prabhas thanked the fans on social media and expressed his happiness.
About ‘Saalar’
Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran are in lead roles in ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’. The film revolves around a fictional town named ‘Khansar’, where two childhood friends get separated due to enmity, but later come face to face with each other. Now the second part of ‘Salaar’ is also going to come, which will once again be directed by Prashant Neel. Fans are eagerly waiting for this. Part 2 is scheduled to release in 2026. The audience also has high expectations from the sequel of the film.

Talking about Prabhas, he was seen in the recently released film ‘The Raja Saab’. However, this film could not do anything special at the box office. Now soon he will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film ‘Spirit’ and after this it is expected to see his pairing with Prashant Neel again.
