iPhone users have been waiting for AI powered Siri for a long time. Now their wait may end soon. There are reports that Apple will roll out iOS 26.4 update in the coming months, which may bring many new features including AI powered Siri based on Gemini AI model and expanded autofill support with new emoji. AI Powered Siri- The most special feature of iOS 26.4 update is going to be AI powered Siri. For this, Apple will use Google’s Gemini model. In this update, along with upgrading the underlying infrastructure of Siri, many user-facing features will also be added. With their help, Siri will be able to understand user data better and will also be equipped with in-app and cross-app actions. Siri will be overall upgraded in iOS 27 update.
new emoji- Apple will also add new emoji in iOS 26.4. These may include many emojis like Apple Core, Belly Dancer, Distorted Face, Fight Cloud, Landslide.
Freeform Folder- According to reports, the new update may bring new folders to the Freeform app. This will make it easier to organize boards etc. Besides, it is also expected to get AI enhancements and additional tools from Creator Studio.
Autofill support in third-party apps- Apple is expanding autofill support in the upcoming update. When the user adds his credit card details in any third-party app, this feature will offer to store those details in iCloud Keychain. This will work just like autofill in Safari.
New security feature- A new validation system can be found in the background of iOS 26.4, which will validate the integrity of the device before granting access to Apple ID and iCloud. If this system feels that the phone has been jailbroken etc. then it will not give it access to Apple’s online service.
