The election temperature is rising regarding the municipal elections in Telangana. Meanwhile, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a huge public meeting in Rehmat Nagar, Nalgonda on Sunday (February 1) evening.
During this, he strongly attacked BJP and RSS by citing an incident in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. Describing the bravery of a Hindu youth named ‘Mohammed Deepak’ as a picture of ‘true India’, Owaisi said that if the youth of the country fight the politics of hatred like this, then the rule of BJP-RSS will end.
Owaisi became emotional
Owaisi became emotional in his address and mentioned an incident that took place in Uttarakhand on 26 January, Republic Day. He told how the shop of a 70-year-old lawyer Ahmed was targeted. Owaisi said that then a local Hindu youth named Deepak Kumar stood there as a shield.
Targeted at BJP government of Uttarakhand
Owaisi told that when the miscreants asked his name, he replied boldly, “My name is Mohammad Deepak.” Describing it as a victory of the Constitution and brotherhood, Owaisi said that this is the India which BJP wants to destroy. Owaisi also made a sharp attack on the BJP government and police of Uttarakhand. He alleged that when the miscreants were blocking the highway, the police remained a mute spectator.
He sarcastically said that the police were watching the show as if they were having breakfast while sitting in someone’s house. He raised the question whether now permission from any organization will be required to run a shop?
Owaisi appealed to Muslims, Dalits and backward classes to unite regarding the municipal elections to be held on February 11. He said that it is necessary to strengthen the Majlis for the development of Nalgonda. This rally is considered important for the elections to be held in 116 municipalities and 7 municipal corporations of Telangana. Owaisi’s statement of ‘Mohammed Deepak’ is going viral on social media and it is being considered as a new message against the politics of polarization.
