Mohan Bhagwat: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s big message to the country! Said- ‘To be a Hindu…’

In the major public dialogue program organized in Dehradun, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat emphasized on the unity and organized power of the society. He said that when the society stops worshiping Shakti, then it becomes weak despite being greater in numbers. He said that a strong society starts feeling insecure in its own country, hence the practice of organized force is very important.

Bhagwat said that the world gives more importance to power than truth. If the society is not organized and strong then its words will not be effective. He clarified that organization is the foundation of national development and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is working with this determination. He also said that it is not possible to understand the Sangh only from the external point of view, but it needs to be experienced.

What did Mohan Bhagwat say about the society?

Bhagwat said that the Sangh was not established in response to any particular situation, nor does it work in opposition or competition to anyone. The Sangh has no direct connection with power. Its objective is not to create any one party or group, but to organize the entire society and make it stronger. He said that the basic work of the Sangh is individual development, because building a strong society and nation is possible only through a strong individual. Bhagwat said that the volunteers prepared by the Sangh are doing social service and nation building work in various fields. He also clarified that Bharatiya Janata Party is a political party and it is not appropriate to consider the activities of the volunteers working there as the formal work of the Sangh.

Bhagwat spoke on the concept of Hindu

Bhagwat said that without unity, the upliftment of the society is not possible. India had to face slavery again and again in history because we had forgotten our true nature. The objective of the Sangh is to take every section of the society together and develop a feeling of unity among them. Speaking on the concept of Hindu, Bhagwat said that diversity in language, creed, sect and food is natural, but the basic element is the same. He said that to be a Hindu, unity is not necessary, but uniformity. Mutual respect and coordination is the specialty of Indian culture. He expressed confidence that in the coming times, India will be able to give direction to the world on the basis of its traditional knowledge, tradition and values.

Mention of Sangh founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar

Referring to Sangh founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, he said that Hedgewar was a born patriot. In the treason case against the British rule, he boldly raised the question as to who gave the right to rule India to a handful of Britishers. Describing freedom as his birthright, he chose the path of struggle and with the same resolve, the Sangh was established so that India would not become dependent again.
