Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani has launched a scathing attack on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s comment on homecoming. Madani said that today the fire of hatred is being stoked within the country and there is an atmosphere of murder and violence.
Maulana Arshad Madani posted on X on Wednesday (February 18) and said that those things which were not born to be said in 70 years, are being said today that 20 crore Muslims will be made to return home. It seems as if only those people have drank their mother’s milk and no one else, whereas the truth is that every voice which takes the country towards destruction, devastation, disharmony and mutual enmity cannot be the voice of loyalty towards the country.
‘The fire of hatred is being stoked’
Madani said that today the fire of hatred is being stoked within the country, there is an atmosphere of murder and violence. Incidents of lynching are taking place in broad daylight, innocent people are being killed in the name of cows and the government is maintaining silence. Despite this, some people keep declaring that only those who follow their ideology will remain in this country. This thinking is not only a flagrant violation of the Indian Constitution but is also extremely dangerous for the integrity, unity and peace of the country.
‘Muslims are alive and will remain alive on their religion’
He said that Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has been strongly opposed to such communal and hate-mongering thinking since the beginning and will continue to oppose it as long as it remains alive. Muslims are alive and will remain alive on their religion. Those who destroyed Muslims have themselves been destroyed, but Islam is alive and will remain alive till the doomsday and peace, brotherhood and mutual harmony in this country is possible only under the shadow of secular constitution.
Maulana Madani further said that remember that any kind of violence cannot be accepted in the name of religion. All religions give the message of humanity, tolerance, love and unity, therefore those who use religion to spread hatred and violence cannot be true followers of their religion. We should condemn and oppose such people at every level.
