‘My husband is being threatened by sharing his photo’, Unnao rape victim told ABP News, made this plea

The Supreme Court on Monday (29 December 2025) stayed the order of the Delhi High Court, in which the life sentence of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the 2017 Unnao rape case was suspended. Meanwhile, while talking exclusively to ABP News, the victim said that she hoped that the Supreme Court would take cognizance of this case and give her justice.

‘My husband is being threatened by sharing his photo’

The victim said, ‘Ever since the Supreme Court order came in my favor, my husband’s photo is being shared on his Facebook and from a Facebook ID named Nandini Dixit that he is the husband of the rape victim. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh can attack on this because Kuldeep Singh Sengar will not come out of jail now.

The victim made allegations against the female lawyer of Unnao

The victim said, ‘There is a female lawyer from Unnao, Rashmi Singh Sengar. When I got married in 2023, he shared my photo at the same time, whereas there is a strict order of the Supreme Court that no one can share the photo of a rape victim. Till date no action has been taken against them. This lawyer is saying that I am not a rape victim. After the order of the High Court, my husband was fired from the job.

Hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the petition filed by CBI against the bail order of Delhi High Court. After hearing the arguments of both the parties in this case, the Supreme Court ordered to stay Sengar’s bail. Along with this, the Supreme Court also issued a notice to Kuldeep Sengar on the petition of CBI.

Kuldeep Sengar should be hanged – victim

After the Supreme Court order, the victim said, ‘I will continue to fight this battle and will ensure that he gets death sentence, only then our family will get true justice. I am grateful to all those who stood by me and helped me get justice. My father’s soul will rest in peace only when Kuldeep Singh Sengar is hanged. The victim’s mother said, ‘We thank the Supreme Court. Those who murdered my husband should get death penalty.
