‘NATO should help in securing the Strait of Hormuz’, what has Donald Trump said to Secretary General Mark Rutte?

The US wants a commitment from NATO to help secure the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump has made this appeal to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Trump has said that he wants concrete promises to help secure this route in the next few days. News agency Reuters has given this information quoting two European diplomats.

Trump’s demand comes after NATO’s decision not to get involved in America’s war against Iran or not to allow American forces to use its bases or airspace. America was angry with this.

The gap of disagreement between NATO and America became deeper when NATO betrayed America. America had sought to use it as a weapon to loosen Tehran’s grip on the Strait of Hormuz. Even after the ceasefire, tension remains between America and NATO. Europe kept it out of the war throughout the war.

Iran allowed 15 ships daily under ceasefire agreement
Iran has said that under the ceasefire agreement with America, it will not allow more than 15 ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz daily. In this war that started on 28 February, Iran has kept this route closed. This has affected the supply of oil and gas in the countries of the world. Due to this, oil prices have increased rapidly across the world. On Wednesday, Iran again closed the Strait of Hormuz in response to Israeli attacks on the Hezbollah terrorist group in Lebanon.

112 people have been killed so far in the attack on Lebanon, hundreds injured
At least 112 people have been killed and hundreds injured in the ongoing war between Israel and Hezbollah. Due to this the ceasefire is in danger. US Vice President JD Vance has called it a delicate agreement. General Seyed Majid Mousavi, Aerospace Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, has written on Twitter that aggression towards Lebanon is aggression towards Iran. Iranian forces are preparing to give a befitting reply to the attack by Israel. At present he has not given any more information than this.

More than 100 Hezbollah targets targeted within 10 minutes
Apart from this, when asked about the recent attacks by Israel, he said that it is a different kind of clash. Israel had said that this agreement does not apply to its ongoing war with Iran-backed Hezbollah. At the same time, Pakistan, playing the role of mediator, had said that it is applicable. In such a situation, the relief that Lebanon got after the ceasefire soon turned into terror. The Israeli army described it as its biggest and most well-planned attack of the current war. In this attack, more than 100 Hezbollah positions were targeted in Beirut, Southern Lebanon and Eastern Bekaa Valley within just 10 minutes.
