Netanyahu called PM Modi a brother, said in Israeli Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Israel. After a grand welcome at the airport, PM Modi is going to address the Israeli Parliament. Earlier, Benjamin Netanyahu called PM Modi a brother. In the Israeli Parliament he said, ‘India is our great friend.’

Israeli PM’s speech in Parliament

Benjamin Netanyahu read a ballad in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Israeli Parliament. He said, ‘Narendra Modi, my dear friend’, these are not mere words. I can even say that he is more of a brother than a friend. In many ways, we are brothers. Today we have with us a great friend of Israel, a great supporter of the India-Israel alliance and a great leader on the world stage. My dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, welcome to Jerusalem.

‘Our interests are the same’

About 80 years ago, we both broke free from British rule and gained our independence at almost the same time. We have many interests in common. We are two democratic countries. You are a huge democracy, and Israel is also one. Think what we had to do, what difficulties we had to go through, and how we maintained our democracy.

PM Modi welcomed in Israeli Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome in the Israeli Parliament. Slogans of Modi-Modi were raised in the Parliament and people were welcomed by saying Namaste Modi. Dr. S.
