New twist in US-Iran tension, along with nuclear, there will be talks on fighter jets and oil as well.

Amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East and the possibility of possible US military action on Iran, Tehran has shown a positive attitude towards the nuclear deal. The Iranian diplomat said that Tehran is negotiating with the US towards a nuclear deal that will be economically beneficial for both sides. Hamid Ghanbari, Deputy Director of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of External Affairs, said that for this deal to remain in force for a long time, it is necessary that America also benefits in those areas from which it gets more benefits.

Entry of issues like aircraft and energy in talks

According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, Ghanbari said that common interests in oil and gas sectors, mining investments and even aircraft purchases are included in the talks with the US. Although Iran’s conciliatory stance led to a slight reduction in tensions between the two countries, Iran’s exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi called for massive demonstrations in major cities of the world demanding the return of power to Tehran. About 250,000 people protested in Munich in response to Pahlavi’s appeal against the Iranian government led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

Top points on Iran-America tension

1. According to Iranian diplomat Ghanbari, the two countries are discussing common interests in oil and gas fields, mining investments and even aircraft purchases. He said that the 2015 nuclear deal with global powers has not protected America’s economic interests.

2. According to the report of news agency Reuters, the US delegation including Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will meet Iranian officials in Geneva on Tuesday. Earlier, representatives of both the countries had come together in Oman to talk at the table.

3. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has put a condition before America. He said Tehran would be ready for a nuclear deal with the United States if Washington was willing to discuss lifting sanctions on Iran. Now the ball is in America’s court. They have to prove whether they want to do the deal or not. If they are serious about this then I am sure we will move towards an agreement.

4. According to news agency Associated Press, a huge rally was organized in Munich on Saturday (14 February 2026), in which a huge crowd of about 250,000 people gathered. In the rally, people were seen playing drums and raising slogans for change of power. The crowd raised slogans like ‘change, change, power change’ and waved green-white-red flags with lion-sun symbols. This flag was used by Iran before the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

5. Reza Pahlavi named the massive rally organized in support of Iranians as ‘Global Action Day’ in view of the ongoing nationwide protests in Iran.

6. Appealing for support from democratic countries around the world, Pahlavi warned that if democratic countries continue to watch silently, there will be more deaths in Iran. He said, ‘We have gathered in this hour of crisis and have come to ask whether the world will stand with the people of Iran?’ He further said that the existence of the Iranian government gives a clear message to every dictator that kill people and you will remain in power.
