Non-bailable warrant against former Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s sister, how far will Shahbaz-Munir stoop for power?

An Anti-Terrorism Court based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on Monday (February 2, 2026) has issued a non-bailable warrant against Alima Khan, sister of the country’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan. This case is related to a protest that took place in Garrison Town, Rawalpindi in the month of November 2024.

According to the report of Pakistan’s Geo News, the court issued this non-bailable warrant because Alima Khan did not appear in the hearing despite being sent summons several times. During the hearing, her lawyer Faisal Malik argued that as long as Alima Khan’s bank accounts and ID cards remain frozen, she will not appear in the court.
