This trend is going to change in 2026 and companies are ready to launch phones with two 200MP sensors. According to reports, both Oppo and Vivo are going to bring such phones, which will have dual 200MP camera system in the rear. After this, other companies can also follow this trend.
This year there will be special focus on camera
This year, companies can also provide 200MP telephoto camera along with 200MP main sensor in their phones. All the sensor making companies including Sony, Samsung, SmartSense, OmniVision and Galaxy Core are busy in preparing advanced 200MP sensors. Oppo and Vivo will bring this phone
According to leaks, Oppo’s Find X9 Ultra will have two 200MP rear cameras. One of these will be primary and the other will be periscope telephoto lens. This will not only produce great photos in low light but will also capture strong details. A third ultra-wide camera of 50MP can also be provided in this phone. Talking about Vivo, Vivo X300 Ultra will also have two 200MP sensors. Not many details have been revealed yet, but it is certain that special emphasis will be given to photography.
What will this change?
Dual 200MP camera can completely change smartphone photography and dependence on digital zoom will be reduced. The improved camera will give users sharper zoom shots, better cropping flexibility and consistent image quality. If this trend is successful then smartphones can approach DSLR cameras.
