It has been a week since Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘O’ Romeo’ was released in theaters and during this time the film has performed well at the box office. This crime action thriller is inspired by Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It has been written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Interestingly, after ‘Kaminey’, ‘Haider’ and ‘Rangoon’, ‘O’ Romeo’ is Vishal Bhardwaj-Shahid Kapoor’s fourth project, and their first film together after a gap of nine years. How much did ‘O’Romeo’ earn on the 7th day?
‘O’Romeo’ was the much awaited film of the year and it was released in theaters on 13 February. The film received good reviews from critics and audiences and had a good opening. Its opening weekend was also strong but then its earnings kept fluctuating during the weekdays. Despite this, it has become the second highest grossing film of this year so far after Border 2. It has also entered the top 10 films of Shahid Kapoor.
Talking about the collection of the film, it opened its account with a collection of Rs 8.5 crore on the first day. After this it earned 12.65 crores on the second day. It collected Rs 9 crore on the third day, Rs 4.85 crore on the fourth day, Rs 5.35 crore on the fifth day and Rs 3.65 crore on the sixth day.

‘O’Romeo’ is going to break the record of ‘Haider’
‘O’Romeo’ is doing well at the box office. With this, it has become the 7th biggest film of Shahid’s career. Now its eyes are on ‘Haider’ whose lifetime collection is Rs 55.93 crore. At present ‘O’Romeo’ is now Rs 9 crore away from beating ‘Haider’. It is expected that the film will achieve this feat on the weekend and will reach the sixth position in Shahid’s top 10 films.
