M4 iPad Air Launched: As soon as this week started, products started coming out of Apple’s box one after the other. Along with iPhone 17e, the company has also launched the upgraded and powerful iPad Air. It has the latest M4 chip, which promises better performance, improved graphics and enhanced AI capabilities. To upgrade the connectivity, Apple has given its new wireless chip in it. It is available in 11 and 13 inch sizes and is quite famous among students, creators and gamers etc.
What’s new in the new iPad Air?
The new iPad Air is powered by the M4 chipset, which is paired with 12GB of RAM to manage multitasking and AI workloads. It has 8 core CPU and 9 core GPU. Apple says that this device is 30 percent faster than the iPad with M3 chip and twice as fast as the M1. It has an N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7 support and a C1X modem for faster 5G connectivity on the cellular variant. It has been launched with support for accessories like Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard. Talking about the camera, there is a 12MP center stage camera in the front and a 12MP sensor in the rear.
How much is the price?
In India, the starting price of 11 inch variant of M4 iPad Air is Rs 64,900 and the price of 13 inch variant is Rs 84,900. It can be pre-ordered from March 4 and its sale will start from March 11.
iPhone 17e also unveiled
Apple has also launched iPhone 17e along with M4 iPad Air. It has new A19 chipset, 48MP rear camera and satellite connectivity features. Its starting price has also been kept at Rs 64,900 and its sale will also start from March 11 like the iPad.
