America’s National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has called Pakistan and China a threat to the US. He said on Wednesday (18 March 2026) that Pakistan, Russia, China and North Korea pose the biggest nuclear threat to the United States. He also named China, Iran, Russia and North Korea as countries that are developing capabilities that could threaten the US.
Tulsi Gabbard said, ‘Intelligence has revealed that Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Pakistan are developing missile technology that is capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional weapons. With this, America can come within the range of the firepower of these countries. He also said that North Korea is now strengthening its partnership with Russia and China.
In her address before the Senate panel, Tulsi Gabbard said that various intelligence inputs have shown that the number of missiles capable of attacking America is increasing rapidly. He said that Iranian power is still intact, but it has become very weak after the recent US military operations. He said that even if Iran’s current regime survives, it will take years to strengthen its missile and drone capabilities.
Tulsi Gabbard earlier defended President Donald Trump’s decision to attack Iran. This happened when Joe Kent, head of America’s National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), resigned in protest. This was the first high-level resignation from the administration regarding this war. Tulsi Gabbard said in her statement that the American people have elected Donald Trump as President and Commander-in-Chief with an overwhelming majority.
