India vs Pakistan match in T20 World Cup 2026 is fixed on 15th February, in which PCB is refusing to play. However, the controversy over this will continue till the last moment, because Pakistan has taken another big decision. PCB will not send a formal mail to ICC regarding boycott of the match against India.
ICC had earlier excluded Bangladesh from the T20 World Cup 2026 because they had refused to play in India. Although BCB was formally talking to ICC, Pakistan has decided not to do so. A few days ago, PCB had told that their team will participate in the tournament but will boycott the match against India in the group stage. On this, BCCI has clearly said that until they do not get information about this from ICC, they will not comment.
PCB will not send formal mail to ICC
Sources told NDTV that, “Pakistan Cricket Board will not send a formal mail to ICC regarding boycott of the match against India in T20 World Cup 2026.” If PCB does not mail regarding this then India vs Pakistan match will remain active and the controversy over it will continue.
According to the report, ICC is waiting for official information from PCB in this regard. If ICC does not receive formal information then they may also have to wait for their next step.
Team India will go to Colombo

Of course, Pakistan has decided not to play the match against India, but Team India will go to Colombo for this match.
