Captain Shakeel told that the players had to face a lot of problems on the Australian tour. He also targeted Pakistan Hockey Association regarding travel related facilities and said that Pakistani players had to wait for 13-14 hours at Sydney Airport before flying to Canberra.

He did not even have a place to stay and wandered on the streets for several hours before his hotel booking was confirmed.
