Amy posted and wrote, ‘My heart is feeling heavy after seeing the situation in UAE. My wife and my 6 year old daughter are there. Being a husband and father, it is becoming emotional and stressful at such times. ‘Papa, if anything happens, I will hide under my bed. Papa, I am a strong girl. Don’t worry.’ This is not what a father wants to hear. Every news update seems personal. No matter how strong we try to be in public life. But in the end we are also family people.
Amy further wrote, ‘I know that there are many other families who are going through this fear and trouble. My prayers are not just for my loved ones but for every person who is going through this. I would like to praise the UAE authorities and government. From what I have come to know, they are working tirelessly to provide food and support to the people. I am very grateful for this. Keep praying for peace, stability and good health of all. This too will pass soon and all the families should remain safe.
