New Delhi. During the budget session of Parliament, the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President’s address will begin in the Lok Sabha today. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will initiate this discussion on behalf of BJP, while BJP MP from Karnataka Tejasvi Surya will support the proposal. A total time of 18 hours has been set for this debate by the Speaker. After completion of the discussion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can answer on behalf of the government in the Lok Sabha on 4 February.
