PM Modi reached the Veer Bal Diwas program at Bharat Mandapam, said – ‘Sahibzade did not bow before the Mughals’

Veer Bal Diwas program was organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on 26 December 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in it. PM Modi also interacted with the children honored with bravery awards this year. Addressing the school children, he said, ‘Everyone should remember the sacrifice of Sahibzadas. Sahibzade did not bow before the Mughals.

India had a glorious past

PM Modi said that today the country is celebrating Brave Children’s Day. Today we are remembering those brave gentlemen, who are the pride of our India. The sacrifice of Sahibzadas is an inspiration. India has a glorious past, what can’t a country with such a past do? Everyone should remember the sacrifice of Sahibzadas.

Sahibzade stood like a rock in front of the cruel Mughals.

PM Modi said, ‘That brave sir, who broke all the boundaries of age and condition. Who stood like a rock in front of the cruel Mughal Sultanate that shook the very existence of religious fanaticism and terror. That fight was between the basic ideas of India and religious fanaticism. Another tenth Guru of that war was Govind Singh ji, while the other was the brutal rule of Aurangzeb. Our Sahibzade was still young at that time but his cruelty did not make any difference to Aurangzeb.

Full confidence in GenZ’s skills

PM Modi said, ‘GenZ will take the country forward. I have full confidence in his skills. No one is bigger or smaller than age. Can do great work even at a young age. Today’s youth dreams and fulfills them. By 2035 the country will be free from the mentality of slavery.

Gave awards to children on the occasion of Brave Children’s Day

President Draupadi Murmu honored 20 children with ‘Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award’ at Bharat Mandapam. These children have been selected from 18 states and union territories. 14 year old cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi is in Delhi to receive the award, hence he is not playing the match against Manipur in the Vijay Hazare Tournament today. Among the children who received the National Children’s Award, Shravan Singh of Firozpur, who served tea and snacks to the soldiers on the border during Operation Sindoor, is also included. Two children were given the award posthumously, including Byoma from Tamil Nadu and Kamlesh Kumar from Bihar. Their parents received their awards.
