PM Modi said in Oman – ‘I am seeing Mini India here, we have gathered like a family…’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Oman on 18 December 2025, started his address in Muscat with Namaskar. He said, ‘The entire atmosphere here has been charged with this youthful enthusiasm and your energy. I greet all those brothers and sisters who are not here due to lack of space and are watching live on a nearby screen. I am watching Mini India here. There are many people speaking Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Gujarati.

On the friendship between India and Oman, PM Modi said, ‘The waves of the ocean change… the seasons change… but the friendship between India and Oman becomes stronger in every season. New heights are reached with every wave. We respect the culture of every country. This summit will give a new direction to the progress of India-Oman.

India-Oman friendship will always last

PM Modi further said, ‘Today we are going to take historic decisions, the echo of which will be heard for years. Our relationship is built on the foundation of trust. Today our diplomatic relations complete 70 years. The relations between our two countries have strengthened. The friendship between India and Oman grows stronger in every season.

PM Modi said, ‘I have the privilege of coming to Oman after seven years. Today I am getting an opportunity to talk with all of you. Today’s summit will give new direction and momentum to India-Oman Partnership.

India and Oman partnership will get new dimensions

PM Modi said that innovation has to be brought forward in every area. We have to take India and Oman partnership to a new level. We have changed dozens of labor codes into just 4 codes. There is uncertainty in the world. India has changed its economic DNA in the last 11 years. Unity in diversity is the basis of our culture.

Oman also benefits from India’s progress

PM Modi said, ‘We respect the culture of every country. This summit will give a new direction to the progress of India-Oman. We will soon be the third largest economy. Oman will also get many benefits from this. The history of India-Oman is linked to generations. We have to move forward with new confidence and energy. The relationship that started with trade will be strengthened by education.
