In Indian cinema, when a big star’s film comes close to release, the audience keeps an eye on every small and big update related to it. Especially when it comes to a superstar like Prabhas, the curiosity increases even more. Prabhas, who has made his own identity with action films, is bringing something different this time. There is already a lot of discussion about his upcoming film ‘Raja Saab’.
This film is a unique combination of horror and comedy, which is being directed by Maruti. In the pre-release event of the film, Prabhas made many interesting revelations related to the film.
What did Prabhas tell about the film?
During the pre-release event, Prabhas praised veteran actress Zarina Wahab. He said, “Zarina Wahab has played the role of my character’s grandmother and her acting is truly worth watching. Many a times, I would forget my own scenes. Zarina’s acting was so powerful and effective that my attention remained on her and I used to get completely lost in her acting. The depth and truth in her acting is difficult to find easily in any actor.”
What did Prabhas say in praise of Zarina Wahab?
Prabhas said, “The story of the film revolves around the relationship between a grandmother and grandson, and the character of Zarina Wahab is like the soul of the film. The real hero of this film is Zarina Wahab. The strength of his acting made every scene of the film memorable. I have become his fan now.
Prabhas shared that the balance of horror and comedy has been kept in a very fun way in this film. He said that the film will give the experience of both laughter and fear, and it will keep the audience completely engaged in the theatre.
Apart from this, Prabhas also praised his other co-stars. He said, “Even small scenes of Sanjay Dutt took over the entire screen, and other actors like Riddhi, Malvika and Nidhi also came forward in their respective styles. All three are very beautiful and will impress the audience with their acting. All the actors have got equal opportunity in the film and every character plays an important role in taking the story forward.”
Prabhas said, “When I first talked to director Maruti about this film, he clearly said that he wants to give a good and true entertainment to the audience. Nowadays most of the films are based only on action, but he wanted to do something light, fun and different. ‘Raja Saab’ was started with this thought, in which a balance of both fear and laughter has been maintained.
