Today i.e. on Sunday, March 08, the final of the T20 World Cup 2026 between India and New Zealand will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before the match, the entire country is seen praying for victory for Team India. Even many players of the team themselves have reached many temples to seek blessings.
Prayers were offered for the victory of Team India at the Mahakaleshwar Temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. During this, photographs of Indian players were also kept. The video of this prayer is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

In another video, many players of Team India including captain Suryakumar Yadav, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and head coach Gautam Gambhir reached Hanuman Temple in Ahmedabad for blessings.

Performance of both teams in the semi-finals
The first semi-final of the tournament was played between South Africa and New Zealand. New Zealand had won the match unilaterally by 9 wickets. Batting first, Africa scored 169/8 runs on the board in 20 overs. Then the Kiwi team, which came for the chase, won by losing 1 wicket in just 12.5 overs.
After this, the second semi-final was played between India and England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This was a high scoring match, in which Team India, who came to bat first, scored 253/7 runs on the board in 20 overs. Then the English team, which came for the chase, could reach only 246/7 runs in 20 overs. In this way, Team India won the match by 7 runs.
Now it will be interesting to see how both the teams perform against each other in the final. Both the teams have shown amazing performance so far. Now whoever dominates in the final will win.
