Gaurav Gogoi said on Wednesday that the names of a total of 80 Congress candidates, including the names included in the first list, will be announced by the first week of March. Gogoi said that our aim is to complete the selection process as soon as possible. The central leadership has asked us to ensure that the first list is released by the end of this month.

The Assam Congress Chief said that the names for about 80 seats will be finalized and announced by the first week of March. When asked about the Congress-led alliance, he said that it is definitely going to happen and the party is far ahead of the ruling BJP in this matter.
